Finally... Someone has a replacement foam earpad for the Motorola S305 Bluetooth Headset.

After reaching out to Motorola for a replacement earpad, the best that customer support could offer was instructing me to buy another $40 pair.

As this didn't make any more sense than me simply buying another pair at retail, removing (and keeping) the pads, then returning as "inadvertently purchased as damaged" for a full refund, I took the honest route.

The retainer ring measures around 42mm so I opted with the 40mm rather than the 45mm earpad. You have to be extremely patient and careful with fitting the earpad on the retainer ring (as not to damage the ring or tear the earpad). But in the matter of about two minutes the Motorola S305 is fully functional once more.

My puppies decided that the foam on my Motorola S305 Headset was just too irresistible and tore them clean off. Luckily someone wrote a review for these foam covers stating that they are a direct replacement. Product arrive fast and actually had eight instead of four in the package. Replacement was a little tricky. The Motorola headset hold the foam in place using plastic rings. I couldn't get the rings to snap into place until I realized that I had to reverse the ring to fit the grove it snaps into. after that it was a piece of cake and the phones are good as new.

These pads were a bit smaller than what I was expecting, not sure if the 40 mm are fully stretched, at first they looked too small for my aviation headset. However they are very elastic and seem very strong as I really had to stretch them out in order to fit them to my headset and I never felt the foam was anywhere near ripping or breaking!
