I have owned at least ten headphones that I use for running and exercise. The most important thing to me is that the headphones stay in the ear. Usually the ear hook style works well for this. These don't. I am constantly having to adjust the headphones. One minute they are solid and then they are loose again. I cannot recommend them for those who use them for exercise. As for sound, they are okay, but not spectacular. I paid a little more expecting a higher end headset. The are not much better than my $12 sony set.

Following is the text of the review I did for this item sold by another seller:

I own a pair of AKG K701s. Amped by an Audio-gd Compass, they sound fantastic. Which is why, when I went in search of phones for working out, I was excited to see these AKG K316 in-ear buds for sports. What I did expect was that they would produce sound that isn't objectionable, that they would work as advertised, and that they'd last for a while given careful use.

The sound was more or less as expected - not objectionable, not great, but better than the stock earbuds that come with the iPhone. These K316s were consistently difficult to get seated properly in the ear - and then they'd often come unseated during exercise! But, hey, nothing's perfect, right?, and headphones for working out are difficult to do, so none of this would have been enough to really put me off these...Read more
