That being the case I do like to cancel out most people and noise when I listen to music. I got the iWave platinum earbuds at a temporary replacment to my Koss "the plug" when they broke. Being a bit lazy I just stuck it out and never order a new pair (Big Mistake because those buds are the best on the market in my opinion and only $15 on the Koss website with a lifetime replacement warranty (no matter how they broke) for $6 shipping!)
Anyway those iWave's stink and when I ran across these for $5 I said why not. They arent' as good at the Koss Plug but they will do. And the girly accoutrements on the earbud itself works for me, cuz I'm a girl :). Bottom Line, Koss "the Plug" is far superior, but if you can get them for a few bucks, it's perfert for a primary and great as a back up. 6 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Altec Lansing MHP126 Muzx Series In Ear Headphone with Black and Blue Crystal Flower (Electronics) Someone lend me a $20 Altec earphone. It fits and sounds great. But I don't have a model #. This one is listed also $20 and look alike. Well, I was wrong. They're worlds apart. I was very disappointed when I put it on. My old Ipod OEM phone sounded much better. I thought it was the seal and tried different size plugs. But none of the supplied plug sealed well even when it felt right. When I fold my earlobe around it, it sounded better. Even so the bass is boomy, highs are tinny and mids are subdue. I did put it through 2 days of 'breakin'. No change. All in all, it's a cheap replacement but a poor upgrade. My reference is an UHP336...great earphone. Buy it when Amazon has it for less than $40. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Altec Lansing MHP126 Muzx Series In Ear Headphone with Black and Blue Crystal Flower (Electronics) The sound quality is OK (for the price) as is the build quality. They fit my ears much better than the iPod headphones ever did and they include 3 different sized earplugs that you can swap out. Unfortunately, these headphones are also quite ugly IMO. But they produce OK sound for YouTube videos and MP3s and are really cheap so I gave them 4 stars. |
