Put simply, they're don't! There is a reason for that, and that's the appalling midrange. It's slow and ponderous at best, which is a shame because the bass is good and the highs are well extended. Put into that the fact that the build quality and design is rather quite special, it's a shame that it falls at the last hurdle. I good pair of headphones at a bargain price? Maybe. However, unfortunately the more established group will fly past them... which is a shame! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP304 AirFit On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Electronics) I don't know much about electronics but when I saw these advertised for a big discount (should have been a clue!) and I needed new headphones, I thought they would be good quality because of the original list price.
The sound quality is passable. I feel like somethings missing, it's not a rich or full sound. The fit of the headset is uncomfortable, even painful after awhile. They don't cup the ears at all and the slide adjustment is too loose. I liked my old $10 ones better but these will do until I can find those again. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP304 AirFit On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Electronics) I've never owned a set of headphones that I was totally happy with until now. These are by far the best headphones I've ever bought, and I was just floored by how good some of my favorites sound on these headphones. I just hear so much more. |
