Audio Technica ATH-ON3W Portable Headphones with 30mm Drivers, Teal Blue

I brought the white one from J&R. I tried it on and was very please, light on the ears with enough pressure to block out vaccum noise at a certain volume. The headband is so light you wont feel it at all, I wore these headphones for 3 hours straight while working my first store(cleaner for Verizon) and 4 hours in my second store. Very light discomfort on the ear cartilage at the end, but a rub on the ears and you're good. I listen to Industrial music EBM, Harsh EBM and Synthpop and I like to dance while working and these stayed on throught the night never had to adjust it. And the sound is what you would expect from Audio Technica 8/10 score I would give it in sound. Needs help from EQ to make the bass noticeable, I have a Cowon S9 and use BBE Headphones settings and I'm set. I might buy more for fashion, these Teal look great and so does the Dark Grey.

I was skeptical over the other reviewer's assertion that these earphones weren't for women so I bought them anyway. I am very glad that I did! I am an average sized (hight/weight/head size) women and on the lowest setting these headphones fit perfectly. The headphones are kind of cool looking, though I can't say they look good on me. The color in the stock photo is deceiving - the headphones are more of a greenish blue than pictured.

I have arthritis in both sides for my jaw and wearing headphones causes me pain even after a short while. I've tried several different types of headphones; the earbuds, the sound canceling kind, the behind the head kind, and cheap regular headphones, to varying degrees of success. I've only had these headphones for a couple days and I can already tell that they are the best (i.e. most comfortable) thus far. This is my second pair of Audio Technica ATH-ON3W headphones. These are the most comfortable over the head portable headphones on the market IMHO. The sound is quite good considering the size of the headphones. However, if you want a lot bass from your headphones, I suggest you look elsewhere.

The price is really good, which is why I bought a second pair. Really love the teal color. My first pair are brown and kind of blah looking.
