This review is from: Audio Technica ATH-P5 Lightweight Open-back Headphones with Hi-ENERGY neodymium magnets (Electronics) These headphones have pretty good sound for being lightweight. Seems to have a good balance of high-mid-low. Also, as I have tried out several sets of small headphones recently, this unit can tolerate high volume better than any others I've purchased. Larger headphones handle high volume better than small ones, but these do well. Equally important... these cans are comfortable on the ears and head. I've worn them for hours at a time and they are comfortable. The cord isn't very long, maybe about a yard or meter or something, but that's not a problem for me. I originally wanted lightweight headphones with a volume control, but I think I purchased most of the ones available but didn't care for any of them. I'll be buying two more sets of these. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Arizona Roger (Tucson, AZ USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Audio Technica ATH-P5 Lightweight Open-back Headphones with Hi-ENERGY neodymium magnets (Electronics) These headphones are exactly what I was looking for. They are lightweight and don't feel like a clamp on your head. The earpieces are soft and very comfortable. I can use these for much longer times than I have used other headphones. Plus the sound is very good. I like the sound better or at least as much as much more expensive ones. I recommend them for computer use and for the less fussy audiophile (like me). I reserve final judgement because I haven't used these to listen to a great source on demanding music recently. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By RD (PA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Audio Technica ATH-P5 Lightweight Open-back Headphones with Hi-ENERGY neodymium magnets (Electronics) Bought this for use with my laptop and find it sounds very good, especially considering the price. I found them very comfortable and I like the open design so you can still hear what's going on in the room. The only drawback is the cord is pretty short. |
