I have bought this last week and they sound great, far better than I had expected.

To get the best out of them you need an equalizer, like DSP Manager in Android for example.

These are probably the most impressive product I've ever bought. The noise isolation is fantastic. The sound is powerful and incredibly detailed and the build quality is amazing, I also love the design. Really worth every penny. If you're planning on spending less than $150 then you should definitely go with these. They've beat all the other popular portable headphones I've ever compared them to, such as Beats, Marshall, Bose, and Sennheiser. It's weird because they actually sound more detailed than my HD380 Pro's. One of my friends ordered one right after listening to these. It's not coming from a guy who owns these and acting overly enthusiastic over them just because he's got them, as a matter of fact I own a lot of headphones(usually Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic) and these ones have impressed me the most. Definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a portable pair of headphones.

beyerdynamic DTX 101 iE Red Earbuds Earphones - Review - 2/5
I recently bought the beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm headphones, and they're worth it. beyerdynamic being so well respected, I went for their DTX 101 iE Earphones, they look great, feel fantastic, no comfort issues. But in my opinion they sound terrible. My 15+ year old Aiwa Sound GT earphones sound better.

FYI they also hiss badly with my portable headphone amp (FiiO E11). These are low impedance headphones, so an amp is not required at all.

They sound dull, flat and lifeless.
