This review is from: Coby Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Earphones with Dongle CVE162 (Black) (Electronics) I've used more expensive bluetooth devices with more features but, at under $30, this is one of my best purchases. Battery life is disappointing if you plan on continuous use for more than half a day, but I might just buy another one to get around that. The sound quality is frankly better than some overpriced wired ear buds. It works well with every Bluetooth enabled device I own: iPhone 4, Blackberry Curve, iMac etc. At first I wished they'd put the Play/Pause/Answer/Voice Command button on the mic, like the standard iPhone headset, but I got used to it being on the lanyard. What really sets it apart though is that the 3.5mm dongle adapter works with all my non-Bluetooth devices: older iPods, Sirius/XM reciever, any Windows PC, portable DVD players, TVs etc. Anything with an "audio out" or headphone jack now has a wireless stereo headset. Pretty cool. The documentation is sparse, so it took a little bit of trial and error initially, but it works. 11 of 15 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) If i charge it for work in the morning it will be dead right after lunch (noon) Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Coby Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Earphones with Dongle CVE162 (Black) (Electronics) The first item I ordered was DOA. The replacement worked. I ordered another one, and it worked about a week then failed. Not very good odds, and you pay shipping for their warranty service. Battery life is ~4hrs., which means you must recharge both the headphone reciever and the transmitter after every use. When it's charged and working it works OK, but there are probably much better options. It would be much better if the reciever came with a plug so you could use your own headphones, rather than the earphones being "hard wired" into the device. |
