Summary: Decent earbuds 2008-10-14
Comment: The earbuds are decent and I definitely like them much better than the earbuds with microphone that came with my iPhone. However, they aren't as good as some of the other earbuds I have had in that same ~ $15 price range (like the Phillips). The sound isn't quite as good.
But, for the price and the ability to have both stereo music playing and the ability to make and receive calls (which is what you are stuck with on the iPhone until Apple provides A2DP so we can use bluetooth stereo sets)it's still a good buy. They are much more comfortable than the normal run of the mill earbuds, which are constantly falling out.

Summary: Horrible product. I wasted my money. 2008-10-14
Comment: These headphones are garbage. The left headphone fell apart after a few weeks. Others had the same issue. Sound is horrible. I only bought these because the of iphone controls and they fit into my ears while riding motorcycle. The warranty is a joke. After you pay for shipping both ways and their $6 warranty fee, you could be a new set to use for 2 weeks until they break again. Look elsewhere for better quality. This is GARBAGE from China full of Lead and warnings on the box to wash hands after touching them.

Summary: Good sound, great price 2008-10-03
Comment: I never liked the sound quality of the iPhone 3g supplied earbuds. Plus I too had issues with earbuds falling out when doing any sort of activity. But I didn't want to give up the microphone and music control feature. So I started shopping around. Other options like the Optimo were at least $50 and had some issues. I don't really want to pay $100 on a set of V-Modas either. So I took a chance on these Coby earbuds despite some negative reviews figuring that $20 is not alot to pay for earbuds.
Am I glad I did. These Coby sound way better than the Apple earbuds. Bass response is very good without overpowering. Hip Hop sounds great. The drums on many of the Alternative rock I listen to have good punch. Highs are a little sharp for my taste, but not overly so. Overall I enjoy using these much more than the Apple buds.
The music controls work great with my iPhone 3g and the size of the mic/control piece is almost the same size as the Apple earbuds. Only thing is the button is only on one side as opposed to basically two sided on the Apple buds. Also the mic is on the left earbud as opposed to the right on the Apple buds, but that is neither a pro nor a con. Plus the white with silver trim matches my white iPhone 3g perfectly as if it was made together.
Only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes when I am on the phone I have to repeat what I say to have the person understand me (but that happened sometimes with my Apple buds too). Also the fish idea is kinda dumb. Who wants that big thing dangling from your phone? Otherwise I disagree about the length of the cord as one person stated. I think the length is just right.
Now the only question is how long they will last. I have had them for about 2 weeks now and so far so good. I will update if that changes.

Summary: Junk; broke within 10 days of use! 2008-09-27
Comment: JUNK! I purchased 2 sets of these headphones from Amazon, and the ear bud on one set fell apart after only 10 days of use. I called Coby for warranty replacement, and they want me to pay a $6 warranty fee to replace their piece of junk headphones. Poor quality product and weak warranty policy.

Comment: I have gotten two of these from one of the sellers and both of them had one earpiece die on me within two weeks.
