These are extremely poor quality headphones. I started using them with my iPod, and compared to other headphones on the same device, the volume and sound quality is horrible. Even with the volume turned to maximum, I often had trouble hearing softer songs and podcasts with even minimal background noise. They also don't come with any sort of soft cover for the earpieces to provide comfort for the ears, so using them is often painful. To make it worse, these headphones actually started to buzz in one ear after only about a month of use. Now the sound will fade in and out, and I've only had these for about 6 weeks. I was very disappointed with these headphones.

You might as well throw your money away instead of buying these. The cord separated from the plug after less than a week of pretty minor (less than 1hr per day, no pulling) use.

Let me explain. I bought these on amazon not used, or like new, but new. I got them in the mail 2 days after I ordered them, so I was obviously excited. I opened the box, and right away, I realized that the wires were thinner than the Sony headphones that I have that will die since the wires are exposed. Right away, I plugged in my Coby headphones. Unlike some of the other times with this company, but similar to one time before with this company, the quality was poor at best. My guess is that Coby is one of those companies where sometimes they're good, and sometimes they're not. This time around for me, they're not. They were good for the person that posted before me because he luckily got a good pair. Coby is usually a good company, but with this specific headphone, there are some defects in them.
