I have tried SO MANY tips before finding these and these are the ONLY ones I found totally comfortable, and that stayed in when I go jogging. The stock Shure E2 tips were terrible - both the silicon and foam ones hurt. There were just way to stiff. Then I tried the Sony E71's. What a dream as far as comfort, but they wouldn't stay in when I was up and about. Next I tried the triple flanges on the Er4p's but they also hurt when inserted. Next I tried the Shure "Olive" tips - again, great comfort but they fell out. Afterwards I tried some JVC Marshmallow tips on my Shure E2's and it was a huge step up in both comfort and staying ability, and that's what I had been using for a long time and was generally happy (I actually ordered extra tips from JVC replacement parts but they were $20 for 2 pairs). But then I decided to upgrade my headphones to the Sleek SA6 with KLEER wireless adapter, and once again I needed new tips. Comply to the rescue for those who are having a difficult time with the included gels of any of the Klipsch Custom series. These foam tips make wearing the Custom monitors very comfortable, they provide excellent passive noise canceling and they keep the plugs in your ears secure. Brilliant!
