I normally don't write reviews, but the previous review is so inaccurate, I felt I needed to give my opinion. First off, these headphones are 1,000 times better than the iPod stock headphones (the ones with the bigger speaker). The sound quality is what you would expect from Denon. The highs and mids are crisp. The bass is of course, exaggerated and heavy, but most people like that. I personally prefer a natural bass, but the bass on these phones works well.
The cord is a bit shorter in length than other earphones, but works well for what I use the phones for. I use these at work, the gym, and mountain biking. I usually run the cord along my back from my rear pocket to my neck. The cord is plenty long for that, and I am a pretty tall guy. The cord is designed to go around your neck, with the length of the cord for the right phone much longer than the left. Poor sound quality, jagged frequency response under 500Hz going up and down 5 to 6dB(very audible) deep bass missing, rebranded Yamaha...etc.
Spend your money elsewhere!,

These earbuds are not total junk but only have a few redeeming qualities. Believe me I own a pair of $350 Denon AH-D2000 headphones and they are gorgeous-sounding, I just don't know what Denon was thinking when they were making these things.
Pros:
1. Great sound isolation
2. Long cable w/ 3.5mm extender, uneven for around-the-neck style listening
3. Different silicone cap sizes included
4. Something at least better than iPod stock headphones
Cons:
1. Silicone caps are WAY too soft and feel like paper, no tight air seal in ear (to be fair to the sound quality I changed the caps with another earbud set for maximum bass)
2. Sound quality (AFTER I changed out the silicone caps): WEELY bad. Believe me I am an audiophile but a relatively tolerant one - and these are unbearable. But these aren't your stereotypical non-bass earbuds - these have plenty of bass except that instead of a deep, tight, punchy bass, this bass has NO punch...Read more
