This review is from: elago E3 In-Ear Noise-Reducing Earphones with Superior Comfort (Compatible iPhone 4, 1G/3GS) (Electronics) I was attracted to these headphones because they were on special. I've been through a bunch of ear bud style headphones and I have to say these are the best under $20.00 ones I've purchased so far. (probably better than some of the $40-50 ones I have). Mind you I've only had them for less than a week but the sound quality is great... deep bass, treble doesn't break up when volume is set high. As for the durability, jury is still out.
I would add another great feature of this product is the earbuds fit snug so it never feels like it will fall out. It kinda "hooks" into the little curve on the bottom of your ear. Sure was willing to replace the broken ones for $250 but, that is half of what thy cost so I was not at all willing to put $700 in headphones that will break again. After I got these in the mail, I put them on and my first impression was not good. I thought the bass was to much and that the highs where drowned out by it. God was I wrong. After turring the Bass Boster EQ on my iPod off, i played the same song again. My God did it sound good. To compare them put my Bose sound canceling headphones on and turned the volume up. Yea, they sounded good and they are $200. These are 20 and they sound amazing! 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) They are that good. The sound is not as accurate as the Apple in ear headphones but these also have better bass response. The sound is rich and full. The Apple in ears are also 10 times the cost of these headphones. Apple In-ear Headphones with Remote & MicSo I bought a bunch to give to family and to keep as backups. They certainly are cheap enough.
The cord is about 6 inches longer than the current generation headset w/mic that comes with the iPhone 4. I would say the length is about 33 inches from tip to tip. The cord is also symmetrical between the left and right headset. It also includes the little cord cinch like on the Apple versions so you can cinch the cord under your chin. Please note, as the photos above suggests, THIS HEADPHONE DOES NOT...Read more |
