FreeTalk Everyman Wireless Headset and Microphone for Skype Calls (5195)
This review is from: FreeTalk Everyman Wireless Headset and Microphone for Skype Calls (5195) (Personal Computers)
I have purchased two of these Freetalk headsets (fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me). I can only describe them as delicate. I am stationed overseas and use them with my PC in my quarters. They were not subjected to very rough handling, yet they broke at the points where the earpieces swivel on the headset band. It's cool that the earpieces swivel, turn and rotate in all different directions until they break, and that seems to be the weak point. Its cheap plastic connected with too short screws. Also, the "dongle" bent with the slightest pressure to the point where the solder points broke and it no longer worked. Total POC.

This headset is scratchy quite often, doesn't always charge properly. I need to unplug the USB antenna, turn off the headset, and restart skype or itunes quite often to get clear sound.

I have two of these and they work very well for Skype and other things. Better than most headsets and very good for the price. Also I carry one of these folded up in my backpack, and it has proven to be relatively sturdy as long as it is packed well.
