This headset with nice headphones sound pretty good. clear highs, mids are a bit missing because the close ear design has trapped the deep bass. So in the 300hz range these things put out a little too much. the ear pads are soft, and the head band along the top is nice, but after wearing these things for less than an hour I can tell that these squeeze my head way too much to be comfortably worn for a long time. I am even thinking about returning them for this very reason. I was looking for a set of headphones that are durable and fold up nicely into my work bag, because I take the train to work often and need something to listen to music and meeting recordings.

Caveat: I'm not an audiophile. Also, I use this device for professional, rather than recreational, purposes.
About half my clients are from out of town, and so I spend a good chunk of my work hours on my iPhone. I know lots of people run around with ear-buds, but it seems to me that Bluetooth is the technology of tomorrow, there's just sound so much static ya' know?
These GHS1's are replacing the white ear-buds that come with my iPhone. It may be the GHS1 is considered a gamer's headset, but they feel totally comfortable. The microphone boom is solid state and the speaker sound rocks as far as I can tell. I had to get an adapter ([...]) to splice the separate mic and speaker cables into the single jack set-up of most smart-phones.
The headphones fold up small enough to fit into a briefcase or backpack, though they're too bulky for most laptop cases, and certainly won't fit into most pockets. I DO wish the cord wasn't orange.
