iLuv i900 Active Noise-Canceling Stereo Earphone with Volume Control (Black)

This pair was OK for comfort and sound quality. But it's marketed as an active noise-cancellation product, and as such it fails miserably. I am familiar with this type of product, and I know what performance expectation can be considered reasonable. I cannot recommend this, because if you DO NOT need a noise-cancellation feature, there are products that are more comfortable to wear and don't have a battery box. If you DO want this feature, you won't get it with this item.

I got these as a gift from my dad for Christmas. I read the reviews on Amazon and considered returning them because the reviews were terrible. I tried them on...flipped on the noise cancellation and agreed that they were useless. But, because they were a gift, I decided to try them on a trip to China. After the first 15 minutes of the 19hr flight, I was thrilled to have the headphones. Before having the noise canceling feature on, I was not able to hear the in-flight movie because of the jet engines. After flipping the noise cancel button, I could hear the dialog perfectly. I highly recommend this product and I take them with me on every flight. I'm considering buying another set in the event that I lose this one. Try it for yourself...it's a great value and product.

the Iluv i900 is comfortable and an effective noise cancelling set of ear buds, I enjoy using them.
Sadly they don't last.
I liked the first set I bought so much when they failed I bought a second set they failed even sooner both within a few weeks.
