The downside though. The original cord is too short. It can't even reach my pant's pocket when i put the earphones on. Well, the good news is It comes with an extension cord. I end-up using it all the time. However, the connecting part, where the cord and extension cord meet, is a little heavy. When you are running or walking fast, the heavy part swings a lot, so it pulls the earphones in your ear and create a noise. Pretty annoying. If you plan to use these earphone when you work-out, get an arm band or find a clip to clip the heavy connecting part with your shirt. The rest is perfect. 7 of 9 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Let me start off by saying THANK YOU to the fine folks at Audio Technica for pushing out an amazing set of earphones. They are quite compact and comfortable. Included are three different sizes of pads for different fits, which is really cool. There's also a storage pouch that can house a 3rd Generation iPod nano just fine. Now to the audio quality... superb. I was shocked at how killer the bass was when I first tried them. Crisp, clear sound with great mids and highs make stuff sound more pleasant and you'll hear things not heard before. These also block out background noise pretty well, a nice touch. One tiny gripe I have with the earbuds is the amount of cable noise that emits when the cable rubs against the side of the face or shirt collar. I found looping the cable over the ears make these suitable for walking. PRO'S -Comfortable fit (three sizes of padding included). -Great bass, mid's and highs deliver an aural euphoria. -Stellar...Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: In-ear Diaphragm Headphones - Black (Electronics) I have only used these for 3 months, so I cannot comment much on their durability. They do seem to be holding up well to ~30 hrs of use per week though. I like that the plug is at 90 degrees, so it is less prone to getting kinked when it sticks out the side of a laptop. The included ear pads have a little parting line. It is large enough to make them a bit uncomfortable for extended wearing. It took me a few weeks to get used to this. Otherwise they are comfy and fit well. Aftermarket ear pads are available. The subwoofer range is crisp and loud, without distortion. The tweeter/squawker range is good also. The woofer range is weak. I have trouble hearing bass guitars. |
