If you are listening to MP3s on an iPod or Zune and even considering this product, you aren't expecting an amazing concert hall experience here. However, just because you aren't spending $100 on a pair of buds to take to work or school doesn't mean you have to put up with the crappy sound of the default white phones or even your average pair of el cheap-o's.I have owned a LOT of earbuds and in-ear style headphones, and I have to say that for this price range, these are hands down the best sounding ones I've tried. There is actual bass. There are highs and mids that you can actually hear, whether you are playing classical or rap. There is actual sound-blocking (passive, but decent). There is a sturdy plug and a decent length cord. The last pair of phones I owned were the J-Labs' JBuds Hi-Fi Noise-Reducing Ear Buds. They were decent, but not as good as these. I found the Jensen earbuds with different size tips - the perfect answer to my problem. I also like the storage case, it keeps my earbuds protected and clean. I connect them to my old iPod and as far as I'm concerned it has a very good sound. If you're looking for something that could be describe as "Outstanding state-of-the-art audio" then maybe you should spend something like $100 dollars or more, but if you're looking for something cheap that can be categorized as "very good" then this is definitely for you. |
