With Amazon's blessing, I'd like to post a comment from the manufacturer. Please accept Jaybird's sincere apologies for the delay on the BlueBuds and other customer service issues in 2010. It's been a difficult time to navigate and very much appreciate the patience and understand of customers in general. With production delays, plus a lengthy pause to evaluate a potential need for authentication hardware for the new iPhone 4, it's been very challenging for JayBird support staff. They have been attempting to interpret internal estimated ship dates each time but then a new delay would appear resulting in a new ship date. It would have been better for JayBird management to instruct support staff to not give any dates and not offer the BlueBuds as JB200 warranty replacements, but rather, exchange JB200 Warranty returns with the JB200 when they arrived in April 2010. I have waited for this product since September, alot shorter time than others. I have all but given up! If it werent for other bluetooth headsets getting such mediocre reveiws, would have already went with a similar product. I thought for sure that they would not miss the opportunity to sell this product like hotcakes this holiday season. But it looks as though they are done. Still haven't heard anything from JayBird on these things. I had faith in you JB, but you have let us all down. The Jaybird informed me via email they would launch in June 2010. After checking back in June, there was no release date. With some searching I found these posts regarding the delays. At first, I commended Jaybird for being so upfront and honest regarding the delays. However, the last post from Mr. Armstrong of Jaybird was in August. It is now November, and we're approaching the 2010 Holiday season. I just wonder if this company is going to survive this extreme of a product failure. It is obvious from customer inquiries there is a market, but if you can't perform- it may be time to bow out. I truly hope this product will launch soon and Jaybird will continue its great customer service and quality. They are going to need a true recovery at this point. |
