Summary: sound not as good as the logitech freepulse wireless set 2010-08-25
Comment: PROS:

Ease of use. Great bluetooth headset. No transmitter is required. Great construction. More comfortable than the logitech freespulse wireless headset.

CONS:
Sound quality is ok as I also have the Logitech Freepulse wireless headset as they sound much better that these at about the same price. The Logitech comes with a transmitter which may make the difference in sound quality

Summary: So far so Good! 2010-08-24
Comment: I haven't had much luck with bluetooth headsets; however, I am very impressed with these. I have used them for almost one week and I am loving them. They fit snug and easily adjust to fit my head. They are constructed very nice--they feel sturdy (not like my two previous pairs from LG). I recommend you ordering an adapter so that you can charge the headphones with a regular wall outlet (they come with a usb charger--not practical for me). I am going to go ahead and order replacement ear cushions, as that was a major complaint from the other reviews I read. This is a minor issue for me--replacing the ear cushion is very cheap compared to purchasing a whole new set of headsets every few months. Also, you will need to go to the JayBird website to get full instuctions--I found the quick start guide they came with to be inadequate (I needed a little more explanation when connecting to my blackberry). Also, I haven't used them to make a phone call; but I bought them exclusively to use for music.

Summary: Awesome but not perfect 2010-08-23
Comment: I love to run in mine, once you go wireless, you will never feel the same about headphones again. I do not like how the controls are awkward and navigating your music and apps aren't really that possible with ease, but once you figure it out, these headphones are excellent. I don't use the mic though, I think that needs some work done to it, I always sound like I am underwater to people.

So basically, I use these to jam out to pandora, and itunes while I am exercising or riding the bus to my commute to work.

Summary: Better than expected 2010-08-15
Comment: I was very skeptical about buying bluetooth headphones after reading so many poor reviews of the other products out on the market. I decided to try these after seeing more positive than negative reviews. I don't usually review items, so this says something about how impressed with the product I am.

1. Sound quality is way better than I had expected being transferred via bluetooth. I have it hooked up to my iphone 3GS without the iphone bluetooth adapter. The connection is instant. I have read some reviews on other devices where the sound is off. The Sportsband is spot on. I am basing this off of watching movies on the phone as well as playing music through the ipod and Pandora radio. You can change the sound settings on your iphone to choose the sound that suits you best. The base isn't excellent, but it is good enough. I have no problem with the quality of the base. Obviously, these headphones will not blow your eardrums... but they do work!

2. Fit is good. It really is formed to fit your head, regardless of size. The adjustability is excellent and sleek. The structure feels durable and sturdy. The don't feel cheap at all, yet they are light enough to not cause a headache. One issue I have is that Jaybird does not offer a different type of ear cushion for these headphones. I would really prefer the leather foam style ear cushions. I've been trying to find some that fit other headsets and make them fit these, but I have not been luck. The search is still on.

3. Range is amazing even through walls. In an open room, I am able to walk 30+ feet away from my phone and still hear music clearly. If a wall is in the way, the range is cut by about 20 feet, but that still is very good.

4. Controls: Since I am not using the iPhone bluetooth adapter, I am unable to use the forward/backward controls on the headphones, but the volume works perfectly. The volume controls on the headphones actually control the volume of the headphones, not the iPhone. This is nice because it gives you two options for volume which can result in even louder music if you boost the volume to max on both.

5. Charging is quick and easy. The headphones come with a USB cable to charge via computer or USB AC adapter if you have one. It took only 2 hours to fully charge my headphones out of the box.

Well, I think that is all I have to say about this product. Bottom line, I am impressed. I think they are well worth the $$ considering the other products on the market with less quality and higher prices. You can't get a better deal!

Summary: They are worth the price 2010-07-29
Comment: Let me start by saying that I had to return mine. They stopped working. At the end of a run they would not turn off and once the battery ran out they woould not turn on. I believe it was the power button. Besides that the headphones were worth every penny. The fit was excellent and I never had a problem with them sliding off. I was worried about this as this is a problem with every pair of headphones I have ever had.

The sound quality was excellent, as good as any wired pair I have ever owned. The bass was well balanced and all my music and calls were clear and crisp. I have read complaints about the sound cutting out while moving. This is a problem with all Bluetooth devices not just Jaybird. The best wway to avoid this is to have your device on an arm band and to have the control part of the headphones on the same side. This keeps the Bluetooth transmitter and receiver right next to each other.

Theband is also thin enough to wear a set of ear muffs over them if your mowing the lawn or a bike helmet. If you plan to ride a lot with them I would suggest looking at Jaybirds other headphones, a little more expensive but they are small and have the same sound quality.
