JVC HA-F140-W Gumy Earbuds (Coconut White)

I always turned my nose up at these when I saw then at the grocery store checkout. Plus, the name is perfect for, like 14 year olds. But my wife has no such prejudice and when I told her to get some earbuds, these are what she bought for me. After opening the Fort Knox-inspired package I expected a pair of gummy silicone cables attached to a pair of tinny buds. Wrong. The cables are not gummy, and the earbuds not only fit better than the Apple OEM earbuds, the sound is on par with the Apple originals, too. Get rid of the wasteful and difficult to open packaging and these would get 5 stars.

Decent sound quality, cheap, and comfortable. I have purchased the same type of head phones a couple times before and they last quiet a while with a lot of use. My main complaint is that the cord could be a little longer.

Sound quality is not as sharp as more expensive earbuds, but for the price, they are fine. Especially good for folks who lose or might be less than careful with their earbuds. Would recommend for an economical pair of earbuds.
