JVC HAF140VN Gumy Headphone (Violet)

I have had these headphones for a few months now and felt compelled to post a positive review.

Durability
I have been through many other brands of headphones that would be useless after a month, usually due to one ear shorting out, wires breaking or some other kind of issue with poor construction. I wouldn't say that I am gentle on my headphones, they endure a lot of travel in bags, my pocket, etc. In fact, I use my iPod for at least six hours a day during the week. Yet I have had these headphones for a few months now, and they are still functioning as well as ever. A strength of these headphones is the gumy material used. This material seems to be a lot less prone to breakage than the plastic used in other headphones. Sometimes, the speaker portion of the headphone can pop out of its gumy casing, but I slip it back in and it is fine.

You can't really go wrong with the price of these ear buds. They're ridiculously cheap. Not exactly high-fidelity (hence 4 stars) but who cares. I have a few pairs which I use for the gym (well, why mess up better ear buds with sweat?). I'd have no issue buying replacement sets. A definite recommend.

I worked retail and sold these earphones. Then my brother needed one, I suggested these Gummy ones, he bought and loves. I then also purchased one for myself and am happy with it. For Whatever reason, his and mine are a little different, but still amazing sound quality. They are as good and clear as Apple Earphones that come with iPods, yet cheaper.

You should buy!!!
