For about $10, these little earphones blow the doors off the competition. I have to laugh at people who buy the expensive 'audiophile' earphones with fancy logos, shapes or colors. Most people simply don't have the hearing capacity to tell the difference under normal ambient outdoor noise conditions anyway, so the money is entirely wasted.

They also don't stick out of your ears like satellite dishes, the way most earphones do. Because they are low-profile, you can sleep with them in your ears on your side and you won't feel like your ear is being pushed in by the ear-pieces.

Since I use rockbox on my Sansa e200, I can see how many decibels the phones are set at when I listen. In a super quiet room, the sound can be turned down to about -50dB and you still hear all the highs and lows with great clarity and satisfaction - so long as you have decent hearing, of course.

I bought these headphones because I was tired of paying $25+ for headphones only to have them break while working out. These headphones were much less than $25 and have held up remarkably well.

I really like this brand and style of earbuds because they really hold a detailed and full focused sound overall. These earbuds are also very comfortable and fit very snug in your ear. If you use and ipod whith these, you really wouldn't have to mess with any of the eq settings on it beause they really sound very well balanced as far as bass, mid and treble are concerned. I really recommend these.
