This review is from: JVC HAFX66B Air Cushion Headphones (Black) (Electronics) These headphones are the most comfortable headphones with the best sound I have ever owned. And the price can't be beat. My only complaint is that the ear pieces fall off too easily and the replacements from JVC are way too expensive. I ordered some replacements and superglued them on. Based on the other strengths I'm giving these 5 stars anyway. 18 of 21 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: JVC HAFX66B Air Cushion Headphones (Black) (Electronics) Please don't pay attention to the 2 other reviews for this product... they only talk about their experiences with shipping. If you went by the stars on their reviews, you'd miss out on a great set of ear buds. I have bought several pairs of ear buds recently, searching for a comfortable and good quality set. These are the best I have found so far. They come with several different sets of do-hickeys (sorry, technical jargon) that fit in your ear, so you can find the right fit. My favorites are the memory foam jobbies that mold to your ear and cut out a lot of exterior sound. To me, they seem to be high-quality. I like them a lot! The sound seems excellent. 11 of 12 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: JVC HAFX66B Air Cushion Headphones (Black) (Electronics) First off, these in-ear buds sounds great for the price range. I have done head to head tests vs. the sony's, v-moda's, etc. These sounds great, decent lows, clear mids, and very nice highs. They aren't perfectly flat reference buds, obviously, you will need to spend a lot more for that. However the biggest reason I love these buds is the air cushion design. For those who use in-ear buds for everyday use will have noticed a few things: cable noise from the cable brushing around, and stress on your ear from the weight of the cable. The typical way to address this is to loop the cable behind your neck or over the ear. What JVC has done here is improve the design so you don't have to do any awkward mitigation to avoid these inherent problems. The cable noise is isolated thanks to the cushion support, as the vibrations don't go into your ear canal. The weight of the cable is also now applied to your ear instead of the ear canal, which is much more...Read more |
