I've used a bunch of earbuds similar to these. This product is very carefully thought-out. I've never noticed much difference in audio quality, so my main concern is: are they comfortable in my ears and are they comfortable in terms of cord management. These are the best I've ever had on both accounts. The area they need to improve is the quality of the cord. In my experience, thin cords wear out close the connection points, and the cord on these is too thin. No problems so far, but I am afraid they wont last as long as I'd like.

So I had the JVC's HA-FX66 ones before and they broke in about six months. I'm a high school student and pretty rough on my earbuds, so this was understandable.
These ones don't have the clearest high notes, not gonna lie, the sound is a bit canned, but the bass is great and they're sturdy.

Phew!!! These little things pack a whollup in the bass dept. The treble is good too. I instantly ordered another pair. Love them
