These are very good sounding for what you pay. You will notice there is a filter that cover the drivers so your earwax does not get into the housing, the mesh filter degrade the sound quality DRAMATICALLY. I suggest just taking a plier or something and pull the filter out. This will make highs and midrange much clearer and control the overwhelming bass a bit and will turn these IEM into a whole new animal.

Got these a couple days ago in the mail and have to say i'm impressed by the sound quality. Overall, it does what they should do with no scratching from cord noise or weird hissing on high notes. The only issue I have with these little buddies is the bass, its too much, but then again its a Koss product and every Koss speaker I've used/sampled has produced more bass then I like - which I end up turning down. Lastly, with all ear buds find the right rubber seal for your ears as they don't sound good at all if they can't make an ear tight seal.

I had a pair just like this one that eventually wore out. I have tried many replacements but finally went on a quest to get the exact replacement because nothing sounded as good. Very happy!
