Summary: breaking news!!! 2006-08-11
Comment: I used this headphone for 37 days and it worked great. I had read all the reviews from other people that they break. So I handled them with extreme caution. I "loaded" the headphone from top of my head in the downward direction so that I never have to even exert the slightest pressure. If you load the headphone like any other normal user would, you would push it from behind your and give it more chance to break. So I was extremely cautious and never did that. But still it finally broke on the 32nd day without a warning.
I am amazed how Logitech can make such products and not recall it from the market. If Apple or Dell would have made such a product I am sure there will be 10 lawsuits on them on the very first day. Surprisingly all users including me are quiet.
Please don't ever buy these headphones.
That said, the sound quality is OK. Neither bad nor good. Works fine for 20 feet with obstacles and 25 feet without obstacles. Fits comfortable till it breaks!!

Summary: Dont igonre the headband problem. It is real 2006-07-22
Comment: I got tempted into purchasing these due to a very attractive offer ($20 AR) and decided to igonre the headband complaints and believe that the company has fixed the issue. It broke within a month of sparing use. It just looks like a pertinent problem with this product.
It is a shame cause this is a very good product wasted because of the stupid low quality headband. The battery life and sound quality is really good. I didnt need to charge it every day as I used them every few days for a couple of hours during travelling. Hope this helps.

Comment: These are the best headphones ive ever gotten!!!
They work for a further range than 30ft.
I can use them upstairs when the ipod is downstairs as long as my right ear is facing the right direction!(Thats were the signal is)
THere is only one downfall, that the thing you put on your ipod is about a third the size of an iPod. But I dont mind becuase I never see it!!!! I put the ipod in my pocket or in the case i have then walk around not having to worry about my IpOd! Also its soo cooool becuase there are volume, track, and play/pause controles right on the headphones!!!! So, you just pick the album you feel like listening to or a playlist you feel like listening to then walk off and skip tracks or repeat tracks if you want to. Alot of other reviews talked about them being broken very easily, but they must not have treated them well. If you nice to them and treat them like you would your iPod, they wont break!!!!
BEST THING IVE GOTTEN IN A LONG TIME
One more thing, these headphones also come with an attachment that allowes you to use them for ANYTHING with a headphone jack!
But you wont be able to control pause or track just volume!

Summary: Logitech Headphones Discontinued 2006-06-27
Comment: These headphones have been discontinued by Logitech. I purchased a pair of the black ones in January 2006 and the headband broke within a couple of weeks. Logitech sent me a new pair and I was very careful not to strain the headband but within a month they developed a crack on the headband and broke. Logitech sent me another pair claiming that the problem with the headband had been fixed, but once again these broke within a month. This time, when I spoke to customer service they informed me that the product has been discontinued (including the ones for ipod, mp3 and PC)because of the defective headband issue and that they will not be replacing the product(check the Logitech website and you'll see they have been removed). They have offered to give me a refund of the purchase price when I mail them back to them with my original receipt. I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks but at least I will get my money back. Other than the headband issue, the sound quality was great and I loved the headphones. But unless you want to wait 6 to 8 weeks for your money back, I suggest that you buy something else. I have decided to buy the new Creative SL3100 as a replacement. Hopefully I will have better luck with these
