After two weeks of normal adult usage, the right channel went out on these headphones. They are also very flimsy and therefore don't stay put once you put them on. I would rate the sound quality as only so-so. These are no more than the cheap Chinese headphones you can get on ebay for $2 shipped, placed in Maxell packaging, and marked up 900%. I was very disappointed with these headphones. I've learned my lesson now and am going back to Sony.

The headphones themselves are built well. They fit comfortably, stay on your head well and actually sound great. The problem is the cord. They went cheap on the cord and especially the 3.5mm jack. My jack broke after about 3 months of 1-2 days/week of use while running.

Sorry Maxell, you had a great idea. Just flawed execution on the small stuff.
