These Headphones broke with regular use. They broke where the head piece connects to the ear piece on both sides. Yes I realize they are faily inexpensive but I expected them to last longer.

Sound compares to the $199 range brands like AKG, Sony MDR series, but the cheap plastic frame has no hinges and cracks, then disentigrates after 1-2 months of use. Bad frame design, holds good cups, and comfortable. If you rarely use these (couple hours a week) they might last. For semi-pro use, buy the Sony MDR-V6?? series, they have steel hinges and sound good.
Good headphones, probably not worth $50,

These headphones are decent. If I were you, I would spend a little more and buy a pair of headphones that is going to last you a little longer. I hardly used these and they shorted out within a few years. The cord is skinny with a tweed-like covering which may have been why mine broke (I did wrap the cord around the headphones when I wasn't using them). They have pretty good sound for casual listening (not much bass, but that's no big deal for me), but I was hoping they would've lasted longer. They are comfortable though (could wear them all day and my ears wouldn't hurt).
