I've had these headphones for a few days now, but I've been wearing them a great deal in that time. I use them primarily at work---I'm in an office with anywhere between 8 and 12 people at any given time, so being able to focus on my work and cut out the background noise is important to me. Overall I have a few key points:

1. The sound quality itself is quite good, and for a wide variety of music. The sound is crisp and the speakers handle the bass without crackling or generating a lot of fuzz.

2. As previous reviewers have noted the noise cancellation feature is lacking. Although, I guess it depends on how you define "95%." Low frequency sound is cancelled out pretty well, but high frequency sounds are barely touched. Just using the noise cancelling feature and playing no music, I can still hear conversations in my office relatively clearly. The major difference is that people sound a bit more nasaly. If you're looking to take these headphones on a trip then I...Read more

Comes with a fairly large carrying case, airplane jack adapter, AAA battery, male to male Aux cord (one side being a right angle L plug).

Pros:
+ Comfortable, foam on the cuffs have a memory effect and becomes adjusted to the curvature of your head the longer you wear it. I've been able to wear this for hours on end and even sleep with these on.
+ The sound is above average, in comparison to the Klipsch IMAGE S4 In-Ear Enhanced Bass Noise-Isolating Headphones (Black) the lows and highs are not as a defined and but it is a lot better than your average set of headphones.
+ Detachable cable, great plus if you've lost headphones because of its audio cable breaking. Easily purchase a new 3.5mm male-male aux cable.
+ Noise cancelling does work when it comes to isolating large volumes of sound (cafeteria, noisy...Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware, January 10, 2012

I bought older noise-canceling headphones from Panasonic and had them for >3 years, using them daily. I finally lost them, but because I liked them so much I bought the newer line (RP-HC700). They broke within 3 months, sound only from 1 side. Sent them back for repair and after 3 months of being jacked around, got a note saying they they are not warranted. Try to connect with a human at Panasonic is virtually impossible, the 800 # doesn't work properly, and you have to call Tx at your expense. They do not stand behind their product.

I buy lots of consumer products and this lame company will never again see one of my $. Buyer beware.
