These are the best earbuds I've ever used. I didn't even realize I was missing some of my music on my MP3 player until I plugged these in. The sound is clear and crisp. They are very comfortable, too. They come with little plastic covers and they don't slide out of my ears when I'm at the gym like the old ones did. The covers come in 3 different sizes but the ones that came already on fit my ears perfectly. I recommend these earbuds to anyone and everyone. They are really terrific!

These are my 2nd Panasonic earphone purchase. You may have read my review on the Panasonic DJS400 headphones which I felt were amazing for the price. Once again Panasonic has hit the mark with these RP-HJE180 earbuds. They sound amazing for very little money. Build quality seems kinda cheap but hey they are cheap to buy. Sound quality is excellent and that's what matters most to me for this type of product. These will reproduce a 20hz test tone as well as a 20khz test tone. I disagree with the other reviewer that said the highs roll off after 12khz as I could clearly hear the 20khz test tone as well as all the test tones above 12khz. Great frequency response and overall great sound quality for very little money. I highly recommend Panasonic headphones/earbuds as they perform very well for very little money.

I wanted relatively inexpensive earbuds with good sound. I can't stand nasty, buzzing distortion. I like plenty of good bass. I use earbuds to listen to movies that I watch on my portable dvd player. I also apparently have oddly shaped ear canals (It's my Dad's fault! He's the same way.) and can't wear most earbuds. They fall right out. I have to have the kind with the soft rubber tips that come in 3 sizes, and use the smallest size. These fit my needs perfectly. I am very happy with them. They actually sound better than the $30 Philips ones I have. I can't believe the quality at this price! And they even have plenty of volume (my hearing's not what it used to be). I've recommended these to several friends. Great buy!
