I ordered these for my iPod nano since the audio from my apple headphones now only comes from one side. Now, these headphones have pretty good sound quality but NOT better than the apple ones as one reviewer has said.
Like I said, for the low price these are pretty decent headphones, but I would still like to mention a couple of things:

As soon as I got them I opened the package and plugged them in my iPod nano to try out the built it microphone it comes with. The recording quality was good but the mic in the apple headphones is a bit more clear. Once I did this I listened a song I've been playing on repeat for quite some time. I mention this to make clear that I am quite acquainted with how the mentioned song sounds with my apple headphones. Anyway, I listen to this song and you can immediately tell the difference in quality: the apple headphones, which I've had easily for two years and used almost every day,sound much better. I am constantly misplacing my apple earbud style headset. I've tried several brands and this one provides good audio both incoming and outgoing. I only wish it had a volume control.

very annoyed it doesn't come with the adapter it claims that it would for nokia / ericsson phone! so don't buy if you are after the adapter just like me.
