Great bass!,

With the smallest of the three sizes of caps, these fit me great and are very comfortable. The angled design helps with that, as with doing an impressive job of isolating outside noise (I can't hear my office phone ringing or co-workers' voices while wearing these.)
These are advertised elsewhere as "rich bass" earbuds - and they are, nothing tinny about them. My electronica music sounds like full surround with these on.
For the price, these are amazingly good earbuds, have rendered my more expensive headphones obsolete!

This is one of the only reviews I have ever written. These in-ear buds will blow your mind with the incredible bass response. Phillips is not kidding when they say (Deep Bass). From what I have read, the (Rich Bass) updated ones are not as boomy in the bass range. However, both models go as low as 6Hz. Quite frankly ladies and gentleman, these have a range superior to Tour Beats, lilJamz, Jamz, and are similiar sounding to Monster Turbine headphones. Very boomy bass, average mids, and defidenlty do not lack highs. I am not bias and listen to anything from Lil John Amile, which is probably one of the funnest songs to listen to on these, with medium volume your head will be spinning from the bass. However, Norah Jones "Come Away with Me" via FLAC lossless Audio or even 120-320 Mbps is extroirdinary. I have Bose Quite Comfort 15 and in terms of Sound Quality alone and Bass, these are superior in the deep end hands down. Extremely durable, very light, do not fall out unless I sweat...Read more

high secondary noise,

These headphones are a reasonable price, and the accompanying earbuds are very comfortable; however, when listening to audiobooks or in the pause between songs on an mp3 player there is a lot of inline static noise. In comparison to my j-lab headphones...which unfortunately died after a year of being abused through rain, running, hiking, and more, the static noise is loud. There was zero feedback on the jlabs. For those who listen to their headphones at high volumes I doubt this should be an issue, but for myself I like to put the volume as low as possible while still hearing my music or lecture clearly and the static can be irritating. I'd recommend these for situations where there is enough ambient noise that the static is drowned out anyways.
