Summary: great for running 2008-10-21
Comment: I have small ears, so anything that is meant to go in your ears hurts after a bit. These have been great for me, for running. I can hear the street noise (for safety) and they are secure and comfortable. They fold up nicely and have lasted for almost a year so far with no signs of trouble.

Summary: the successor to the 820 2008-06-24
Comment: I have both, the old white 820 and the new 8200.....
differences:
old: more premium plastic better build quality
better for biking during sunny days (white reflects heat)
new: cheaper plastic
better, tighter fit
same great sound as the 820
the old white 820s headband was too large (i have a larger head), so
the fit wasn't tight and you lost some bass as a result. the new
black 8200 have tighter fit resulting in better sound.
I wish you could get this in black and white, since white is better
for being out in the sun for biking.

Summary: Perfect fit, very comfortable 2008-06-16
Comment: These fit great over my ears - I especially like how the plastic loop fits over the ear holding them in place. Lightweight and look cool. I can't use the regular iPod ear phones as they just fall out of my ears, so these are great. The only thing that I would change about these is where the wire exits. I wish it came out of the back/middle of the plastic part that goes around your neck, instead it comes out of the left ear piece which sometimes gets in the way of putting them on.

Summary: Horrible fit and very uncomfortable 2008-04-17
Comment: I just received these headphones with high hopes and I must say that I've seldom been so dissapointed. The fit of the headphones over your ears forces the tops of your ears to bend through the plastic headphone loop so that it feels like your ears are flapping in the breeze. Extremely unnatural and darned uncomfortable. The plastic band that goes behind your neck has no adjustment and on my neck its already rubbing - how can Philips expect me to use these in an active life style? Of course I'm already bummed that I can't return them because I actually had to take them out of the plastic / cardboard packaging to try them on. Now that the package is opened its against Amazon's policy to accept them as a return so I guess I'll have to sell them off on ebay or just toss the darn things in the trash. What a pathetic waste of money.

Summary: Great Headphones! 2008-03-28
Comment: If you're like me, and don't like those in-the-ear phones, then these are for YOU! These things sound GREAT. The bass goes rather deep, and I haven't heard any crackling noise or anything. These headphones can handle a very wide range of sounds. They're pretty comfortable. They take a couple days to get used to, but they're well worth it. I would HIGHLY reccommend these to anyone. I love them!
