The headphones are sturdy and very reminiscent of my Bose which recently broke. The sound quality is quite good in my office, I will have to check them out on my next flight. They gave me two batteries and they only require one, bonus. They can also be used without noise cancelling so when the battery dies you can still enjoy music, not like the Bose. Overall I say these are well-built, good sound quality, affordable noise cancelling headsets. The only problem I noticed was that the 2-pronged adapter for the Boeing 777 armrest did not work on the return flight from Hong Kong. It appeared to be defective. I sent in my request for help when I got home to the USA and got an e-mail reply almost instantly! In fact, I called up their help line, as they asked in the e-mail to do, spoke to a person who was interested in the problem, and not only did he send me the replacement 2-prong adapter, but a replacement cord for the headphones in case they have a problem. I knew then and there I had to get a set of my own. But... Which set was right for me? Well I went to my good friend, the internet, and found a few sites that recommended the Plane Quiet Platinum Noise Canceling Headphones. The reviews claimed it was a great value! Excellent noise canceling for such a relatively low price! How could I lose? Well I must say that after a week with these headphones, I'm not impressed.
