Summary: Awesome headphones! 2008-11-22
Comment: Sennheiser is known for making top notch audio products and it seems they rose the bar a bit more this time around. I bought this judging from my great experience with my friend's CX300 model headphones and I have to say, the CX500 is one of the best headphones I have ever bought! The sound quality is astounding and the noise isolating design makes traveling much more comfortable. These headphones also came with a dozen spare silicon ear pieces so customization is an easy feat. The carrying case is also a handy accessory since I always find myself losing or damaging headphones since I travel a lot. I recommend these to anyone who has a decent budget. Those of you who have slightly less to spend, go for the CX300. I have seen that model outperform some more expensive models which are worth around $100 (It is almost scary to think what the CX500 could achieve).

Summary: Finally!! 2008-11-20
Comment: I just received these earbuds today, and love them already. I can compare them to just two other in-ear canal models: a pair of Griffin TuneBuds, which are OK, and Sony's MDR-X71, which I do not like at all. I've seen many favorable reviews for the MDR-x71, but find them to have a weak bass sound (others have complained of it being too strong, strangely), and produce a very tinny, empty sound overall. The CX 500s have a warm, rich sound. I don't know if they're worth an extra $20 compared to the CX 300s (which have garnered many positive reviews), but I am very happy with them.

Comment: Good value for the price.

While not noise cancelling, this is a very comfortable and functional accessory which delivers direct stereo into the ear and masks much outside noise. Nice long cord and inline volume adjustments are good features. Multiple bud sizes make near custom fit easy to achive. Excellent musical response from Mozart to Marley.

Summary: A Very Good In Ear Head phone worth Buying and Recommending 2008-10-30
Comment: I have a problem with the regular earphones.. They keep falling from my right ear..Always.. I believe I have a smaller ear on my right !.. So Only In Ear earphones are the only ones that suites me.. I bought Apple Inear earphones with my iPod touch spending nearly $35/-.. But even that was too big for my right ear.. It always used to slip away and when it slips away the Bass dies down.. So I thought of buying a new one..

Sennheiser CX 500 was a very good move I took.. Some of the advantages I would detail below.

1) They are the perfect fit.. It comes in right size for any ear it seems.. And more over they have a variety of earbud choices which would perfectly seal any ear size.

2) The sound quality is great... The Bass is not really high but good enough .. Cristal clarity sound.

3) The Sound insulation is perfect.. When the music is playing.. you wont hear anything else.. you can bet on that..

4) The cord is of right size.. nice Y splitter.. and it doesnt give any noise in the ear when you touch it or move like most of the other earphones infamous for.

5) The volume controller is handy and a must considering the ear canal sealing that this product offers.

6) The Cord winder is really good and handy and the pouch looks professional but not big enough to fit my ipod touch..I think I was being greedy here...! But it is big enough to fit a nano or other smaller mp3 players in the market.

There are also some minor concerns that I would like to list here..

1) I liked the Apple in earphone cords better.. they were smoother and "wrinkle free".. ! This one retains the shape of the winding..

2) The volume controller doesn't mute the music to absolute nill..

Other than this, I think it is a great product with professional design and a no regret buy for any one.

Summary: The Best Sub-$100 Earbuds Available 2008-10-24
Comment: These are an absolute steal at under $100. Very sharp highs, big, fat bass, and well-rounded mids. They seal your ears off comfortably, which means you don't have to crank them in a noisy environment. Great for airplanes, trains, buses, and other public transportation.

Another advantage to the high-quality sound is it makes even the cheapest MP3 player sound amazing. I use these with a Sansa Express (about $45) and the sound is incredible.
