Summary: Stinkin' Buds 2008-11-16
Comment: I inherited a Sansa View (from my son, who moved on to an ever more expensive ipod) and he lost the earbuds. Being old, I went and bought what I thought were high quality expensive earbuds ($40! These must be great!).
However, time had clearly past me by. For months I blamed my Sansa View for poor bass and low volume. Then I did some research and found that these buds are the worst of the best -- better than a $9 pair, but not sufficient.
I started to suspect something when I connected the earbuds from my old Sansa m-240 to the View and it got louder and bassier (not necessarily crisper) sound from the View.
I finally broke down and bough some V-Moda Vibes. The sound was instantly useable. I am ashamed that I ever even stuggled though listening to so much music with the SKullcandies.
I guess if you're a boarder or cool kid, who wants a skull on his earbuds, then you would buy these.
But if you like music. Don't.

Summary: Bought for 16 year old son 2008-10-26
Comment: I bought these for my 16 year old son, because I vacuumed up his other pair =0 He loves the Skullcandy products and has purchased multiple types. He has the full cover headgear and the ear pods and then these Chops Hangers. The noise cancelling works really well, I have to tap him on the shoulder to get his attention.

Summary: great value! 2008-10-24
Comment: These earbuds are a great value for the money. They deliver better sound and are more comfortable than some I've paid twice as much for.

Summary: These work wonderfully for me! 2008-10-21
Comment: I really like these ear buds. I wanted something that would stay on during exercise and these are great. I like the light weight and the way that they hold securely to my ears.
As per the way they sound, they are just fine for my purposes, but I believe I might be less picky than some people. They seem to handle highs, lows and in-betweens just fine. They also can get very loud without trouble.
The only things I would change is the way the ear buds can swivel away from my ear from time to time but I just readjust and go on. The swivel has an upside in that I can turn one side away from my ear and still hear my music and talk to people at the same time. The other is the length of the cord, which is a bit too long, so I have to wrap it around my mp3 player and tuck a loop under my armband case, but that's a small complaint for a pair of headphones that I like so much. And I'm glad it's long when I use them with my laptop.
I got them on sale with a gift certificate, so the price was just right for me!

Summary: Flimsy and Poor Sound Quality 2008-10-14
Comment: I have owned a number of small ear phones. I wanted a pair that would stay on well when I work out, but I was very disappointed. The rubberized ear pieces on these are very flimsy and I can't image they'd stay on too well for anyone. I also compared them to some cheap Sony and Phillips earbuds I own and was surprised after all of the skull candy hype from friends that they don't sound as good. Volume was noticeably lower and even when turned up, sounded more flat than my cheaper headphones. I exchanged them thinking I had a bad pair, but I guess this is how they're made. These are going back to the store.
