Skullcandy Hesh Black-White Over-Ear Headphones

Ive been a fan of skullcandy's earbuds for several years but their Hesh line of headphones are extremely cheaply made. I produce beats and use these because they have great sound and are quite comfortable for hours of use but I've had two pair break in the same spot within 6 months (the plastic band right above the ear piece). The second time around I tried to be extra careful with them (even though I shouldn't have to) and they still broke just from removing them from my head after a month. I would definitely skip these unless you like to make use of skullcandy's generous return policy very often.

I bought this overhead skullcandy, like most others, because of its nice design. The sound is definitely better than $30 ear plugs (including apple's white earplugs), but not as good as the upper grade overhead headphones such as the Grado series. However, the headphone is still good for this price.
I usually use this headphone on subway, in noisy city area or at home. I have to say that even though it does not have noise cancelling function, the earpiece still blocks out the noise quite well.
The headphone also has a volume adjusting thing, which is slightly hard to work with. However, I really like the lining plug line because it's quite hard to be tangled.
The bass isn't very good but it's good enough, for this price of course.

Be careful while you're adjusting the headphone onto your head, once while I was doing that, the left side cracked. The good thing is that i had super glue which worked quite well on plastic and now it's totally fine...Read more

The headphones sound moderately ok. They look bad-ass and have volume control. Although it appears to be a good and stylish product, Skullcandy headphones are distributed by monster and are cheaply constructed. This is my third pair of Skullcandy HESH headphones and they all had the same problem. They broke at the sides wear you adjust the length of the headphones. Also, the cushion around the ears tends to come out over time.
