Comment: I've never been a fan of using the EQ on any MP3 player as I feel it detracts from the music. I don't need to with these. With a flat EQ I've been able to listen to everything from rock to r&b to classical without even thinking of touching the EQ.
Like others have stated, sound travels though the cord to the ears but, from personal experience, these aren't near as bad as some others. Sensitivity is awesome, I no longer have to run any higher than 75% volume on my Sansa e200 to get a nice loud song to my ears. My last earbuds required an external amp to keep up the volume like that and didn't sound half as good as these unless accompanied buy and amp and some EQ adjustment.
In short: If you're looking for earbuds with bass. Look no further. I can't speak for the rest of the Skullcandy line but these sound just awesome and are extremely comfortable.

Comment: These are good quality ear buds especially for the price. But, if you want your money's worth for sure... Get the next level up of the Skull Candy ($30) they are the best and I should have purchased those.

Summary: Well Worth the Price 2008-11-26
Comment: I bought these headphones because my cat chewed through the cord of my old Skullcandy headphones. These buds fit in the ear much better than older model, and they don't fall out as easily either. I have no problem with wearing them while on the treadmill. The wires are nice and thick and study so they don't tangle easily. My only complaint is that they don't deliver on the bass quite so much, but for the price, it's a great deal.
