This review is from: Skullcandy S2INBI-FZ Ink'd Ear Buds with Inline Microphone (Black) (Electronics) I have owned many pairs of skullcandy headphones, and the Ink'd headphones out of all of them are indeed my favorite. So when ordering, I figured that these would be the same quality. When I received them, I immediately plugged them into my HTC Hero (sprint) and played a couple of songs. The music quality is superior, like usual with Ink'd headphones. There is great bass response, clear treble, and overall the quality of music sounds full and not distorted. The ear buds come with three different sizes of soft rubber tips to fit your ear. Overall the fit of the headphone is great and it does a great job of canceling out most of the noise around you, seeing as these are NOT noise canceling headphones. However, my only problem with these headphones is the mic. The mic is located on one of the ear bud wires before they connect together, so when in your ear, the microphone hangs around by your adam's apple. I unfortunately bought and returned these earbuds 4 times. They each lasted approximately 2-4 weeks before the cord shorted out at the jack. First one ear and then the other. It's a shame because the sound quality is actually quite good for a low end price. With other inexpensive brands I have owned this has never been a problem. I got the skull candy because at the time it was one of the cheapest in-ear designs. I have finally wised up and bought the entry level pair from SONY. So far they have held up well. I think the design flaw may be in the fact that the jack comes out straight instead of bending with the flexible 90 degree elbow so when it is in the pocket the wire is constantly being bent. Bottom line - they REALLY dont last! 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Skullcandy INK'd Earbuds with In-Line Microphone S2INBI-PZ (Pink) (Electronics) I originally bought a $70 set of Skullcandy earbuds for my iphone. They broke approx. every 3 months so I had to send them in to Skullcandy for a replacement every 3 months. I needed a pair to use while those were out so I bought these. These are my favorite pair now. I've had them for approx. 9 months now and not a single problem with them. The sound isn't the best, but it is better than average. I highly recommend these!! |
