Summary: Skull Candy is not for me 2008-12-01
Comment: I've had the lowriders for about six months now since the skull candy craze hit the shelves at Target. I used to buy the earbuds but earbuds didn't work. Tried using these and sure, they're comfortable for the first week, but then they just start hurting, especially if you have ear piercings. They're uncomfortable to wear for more than two hours and the sound isn't that great of a quality. The cord doesn't last. If you buy these, you will be replacing them soon. It's worth it to get "real" headphones for a slightly higher price that last longer and sound better. I would not suggest buying these if you need them for more than two hours a day or buying them at all.

Comment: the fit is amazing... there is enuff adjustments to fit on my tiny head and also when im wearing big fluffy winter hats.
super comfortable, sweet color finish
the way they fold up is my fav feature
the sound is very good, although if i hit the volume to max people on the train around me can hear the music too (pet peeve)
perferct for the price ;)
if u upgrade the prob is solved. my friend has some of the fancier ones and they totally rock!!
i think im going to try the skullcandy earbuds too

Comment: These ear phones look awesome. The sound is about as basic as a normal pair of ear phones. Nothing really to special but not to bad either. I would recomend these to people but not the real Music Junkee who likes bass and louuuuud clear sounds. The looks are what your paying for.

Summary: good sound, poor build 2008-10-30
Comment: Ok, I bought these head phones because I was sick of my in ear ones loosing their rubber tips. My first impression was WOW! the sound was great, the cushion did not hurt my piercings, and they looked fashionable. I soon noticed that when the fold up, they do not fold completely. It is as if Skull Candy added hinges, but did not measure everything out so the phones are completely, securely, folded. I felt as if the plastic would not last long, and I was right. After about a month of daily use the part that goes over my head snapped, and tape does not hold it back together well. Do not get these. They sound great for the price, but will not last very long, no matter how safe you are with them.

Comment: This pair of headphones sound real good with an ipod, good bass it does not blast when you shift all the volume up and also their comfortable , so for the price they are worth it because I've tried others more expensive and sound the same.
