Product Description
Step back and take it all in. Yes, the Skullcandy Ti Stereo Headphones really do look that good. Besides a build so perfect it would make Daniel Craig feel like Frankenstein in comparison, these babies also crank out music as it was meant to be. They cradle your cranium with a styled-out leather headband, 90-degree swivel earphones, and soft-as-butter earpads. Then their 40mm speakers expand your universe with monster sound as soon as you hit "Play."

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't last, August 9, 2010

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. Looked great, felt good and sounded fine. She was happy. Her usage was mostly on the computer, so they didn't move around much. Then two months ago, the headset extension cord started to short out. Since there is no way to get a replacement one through Amazon or Skullcandy, I had to search for ages to find something that remotely looked like the remaining purple cord. That worked great for 2 weeks, but then the connection to the headset itself went out. Since that is permanently wired to the headset, there is no way to replace that. Big disappointment for my daughter - she loved how they looked and felt. Now she borrows her dad's Sennheiser.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, February 20, 2011

First off, I absolutely loved these headphones. The sound quality is great, and they also look fantastic.

However, these headphones really have some short comings - the worst of which being my pair gave out only a month after purchase. One side won't have even a crackle unless I wiggle the cord around to make it work. Needless to say, I was pretty devastated. I refuse to get rid of them for the money I spent, however.

I should also mention that the cord is RIDICULOUSLY short, and the "extension" that comes with it is shorter than the cord itself. To put it in perspective, I am under 5'4" and could only manage to get my iPod in my pocket with the headphones on with the extension cord. Whatever happened to those lovely cords that you could practically jump-rope with, Skullcandy?

I'm a super-rabid tokidoki fan. I've wanted these headphones for a long time, and was finally able to snag a pair.

I love the look; not just the tokidoki design, but the headphones look awesome. I'm no audiophile, but they sound great to me for the price. You can opt to use the short cord or an extension, which I find useful if I'm using my iPod Touch or Nano with an armband and don't want a long cord. The swiveling earphones are good when someone needs to speak to me and have to hang them from my neck, and the earphones don't get in the way of my face.

The downside? It feels like a vice squeezing my noggin. I've worn these at work, for a few hours at a time, almost six hours a day, for about a week. I guess I need to give them more time to break in, but they do hurt quite a bit after wearing for an hour or two straight; in fact, its a relief to take them off after a long time.

So, great sound, great look, really uncomfortable right out of the...Read more
