I have two big problems when it comes to earbuds: first, I have small ears so I frequently feel like earbuds are in fact screws being worked into my inner ear (they also fall out all the time). Second, I am very rough with my hardware because I sleep with them I let them hang off my Ipod and drag on the ground, I broke my last pair by stepping on them. Because of this I go through buds and headphones quickly, and buy pairs I know I won't like simply because they are cheap and I know I'll have destroyed them soon.

I found these at a local electronics store (I always browse for new headphones), the low price point drew me in and the fact that there were 5 different colors on display was nice but unnecessary (I picked the grey/white ones). Good stuff. I use them when I work out. They're much louder than my old iPod headphones. I always trust Sony since I've had the same Sony headphones for a good 5 years and they work the same as they did when I first go them.

As a general rule I am not a fan of earbuds. I only use them while at my desk at work (with one ear open), or while at the beach/pool.

With that said, these serve their purpose very well. I only bought them because my standard issue, Apple earbuds finally broke after a few years, and I have been very happy with the results so far.

I immediately noticed an increase in comfort & sound quality. They also stay in my ear a lot better than the Apple buds, but if I was running around/working out/etc...they would definitely not work.

So if you are using these while sitting at your desk or laying by the pool I would definitely recommend them. If you need something for the gym, get some good old fashioned headphones.
