Comment: I'm a little disappointed with these. They have to be in just right or you hear distortions in the treble. But they do stay in your ears. I just don't think they are worth the money.

Summary: Completely perfect 2008-08-12
Comment: I just got these headphones not even 20 minutes ago and after listening to only 2 songs on my ipod I ran to my computer to write a review. These headphones are quite possibly the best I've ever used. They have absolutely amazing mids and hi's and the bass is subtle but in your face at the same time. I can't even stress how good of a purchase these are. I've been dealing with 20-30$ head phones from best buy and the such and compared to these they're like...almost childish. I would easily pay 70-80$ for these. probably the best purchase I've made in the past few years. I have a very wide taste in music, some days I'll listen to heavy grind core and others I might want to listen to some acoustic folk rock and these head phones work perfect with both styles. It makes heavy music seem more intense and folk music seem more detailed and beautiful. You're music will sound completey different than it ever had with other head phones. You will not regret buying these!

Comment: I'm satisfied, and I'm an owner of Bose headphones, too. The Sony product comes with 3 earbud sizes for varying ear sizes...and at first I was dissatisfied with the overall sound I was experiencing. It was relatively dull. I then decided to switch from the smallest size earbuds to the medium size...and WOW that made a complete difference. Once I had the proper earbud size, I was able to experience the true potential of the product. Rich base. Distinctive high/mid-range. Again - a solid product for the price.

Summary: Five Star Hands Down! 2008-08-08
Comment: This is, by far, the best set of earbuds I've ever heard or tested, let alone purchased! I was surprised because of the tiny cords it came with, that not a whole lot of data would be able to stream through to the buds. And the inexpensive price threw me also... but after reading a few reviews, I thought I'd try it. I needed a good pair of buds for biking to and from work anyway, and the 2 foot cord was perfect for clipping my MP3 player to my shoulder strap and not getting it caught on anything.
I was ASTOUNDED! These buds punch out a very clear, very deep sound that forced me to actually turn down my player a notch or two from the norm. I have it at a third volume now, and the sound is perfect!
What's marvelous about these buds is that they grab every note of the compressed MP3 format that is usually lost with lesser phones or buds, and present it for you as if it weren't compressed at all. I can still tell a difference between MP3 and CD, of course... there's no comparison really, but for MP3 listeners, these buds bring the sound closest to the orginal format that you can get, in my opinion.
A very good purchase, you won't be disappointed!
