Not exactly what you would expect,

I'll just get to the point. Even when these seal perfectly, they don't block out much sound. I have used all kinds of headphones and this is the only pair of the in ear sealing type (IEM or whatever you want to call them) headphones that behave like open-air headphones and let outside noise in. You can look at this in two ways.
1) It's good because if you're running outside you can still hear the traffic around you.
2) If I wanted to hear the traffic around me I wouldn't have bothered with sealing type headphones.
It does come with four sizes of the soft rubber plugs. They are sweat proof as advertised. The short cord option is nice although I wish it was even shorter (my mp3 player clips to my collar).
Sports aside, the sound quality is good if you're in a quiet environment. It's fairly neutral to my ears.
