Koss CLIPPERBLU Sportclip Lightweight Clip-on Stereophone with In-line Volume Control

I have funny shaped ears, or at least that it was the headphone industry would have me believe because no headphones that are supposed to clip to your ears work for me. This is pretty annoying if you like to listen to your iPod while you work out. You can also spend a lot of money trying out headphones only to find they fail you. I bought this product because it was a little cheaper, hooks to your ears, and has a volume control on the cord. I must say that these really do nicely stay on my ears with no trouble and they are very comfortable. The ear piece is flexible so you can mold it to the shape of your ears. They aren't overly large either so they aren't awkward. The volume control is a bit tricky I find. It's too sensitive and I find that I have a hard time adjusting it without struggling with it being too loud or too soft alternately until I use my fingernail to move it a few millimeters to the right position (I'm not kidding). I picked these earphones after doing quite a bit of research. The sound quality is excellent, but for running and working out, which was the main reason I purchased them, they are very disappointing. I've tried adjusting them every which way, but whatever I do, they do not stay firmly on my ears. I ran a 5k recently and had to continually fix them to keep them from falling off. It was very frustrating.

If you're an active person, these may not be the best earphones for you.

I purchased these headphones to go with my Sansa Fuze player. I have small ears and find that earbuds are very uncomfortable and/or just won't stay in, so I thought these would be a nice, compact alternative.

What I like:

*Comfortable - the ear clip is a thick plastic-coated wire, so it is easy to adjust to fit any size/shape ear. If it seems uncomfortable at first, just adjust it

*Secure - again, you can adjust the clip, and once you do, these phones will stay on pretty much no matter what you are doing.

*Less bulky than over-the-ear style headphones

*Price

HOWEVER...the sound quality is HORRIBLE! I didn't have very high expectations given the price, and I am not an audiophile, but these just sound awful. Everything is muffled and tinny.
