I advise anyone considering these to look elsewhere. I purchased these for my 14 yr old son for Christmas. They never left the house, were used minimally while he was on his laptop and within 2 weeks something was rattling around inside the earphone connecter. I didn't think much of it, as it sounded as if a tiny piece of plastic had came loose and was rolling around. He managed to get about 20 hours of use out of them before the one side just fell off and was left dangling by the wire. My son isn't a techie, on his laptop 24/7, he is the kid out riding bikes and skateboards, so when he pops on his headphones to listen to some music, relaxing on the couch and they just disintegrate, I would say flimsy is being generous. I cannot imagine how many minutes they would survive with a kid who spends hours using them.

I really like using these headphones because they are simple, light, and have decent sound quality.
With my old headphones, they had amazing sound quality but were too heavy.
With these pairs, it is so light that you can barely feel them.
However, the only thing bad is that the black part (cushion) may fall off.
But you can reattach them so it's fine.
