I had to get this adapter after my original one's jack broke off. The cord is way too long, making the hands-free speaker too low causing you have to hold it to your mouth, negating any type of hands-free ability. The quality of the mouthpiece is sub-par, as most people I talked to said it was very quiet and static filled. I had the adapter for about 2 months before it broke, when using it my headphones barely produce audio and when they do it is static filled and only out of one earpiece. i can apply pressure on the plug to get it to work sometimes, I do not know if it is the nylon material cord or what exactly caused it.
