The Xtreme Xplosives is a very good set of over-ear headphones! It looks great, though I would prefer black wires instead of red.
Bass is very strong. I tested some 2pac, even though I don't listen to rap anymore, just to see how these headphones fared. "Run tha Streets and Shed So Many Tears really blows me away! It goes deep and loud. Cranked the distortion is not bad, but the bass is astounding cranked. Bass drums for rock songs is loud. Mids are loud, vocals are pronounced when 2pac raps. Treble is a little bright but not crazy. Sound does leak out of the ports, but the ports are the reason the bass really kicks.
Other headphones I own: Sony XB300, JVC HA-RX300, Sol Republic Amps HD, Woodees Classic, Altec Lansing MUZX, Skullcandy Holua, Skullcandy Smokin Buds, and iPhone earbuds. I love the JVC Xtreme Xplosives and the Sol Republic HD Amps.
Compared to the Sony XB300 and JVC HA-RX 300, this has a lot more bass and volume. This is a very good deal...Read more

Although these are not Dre Beats headphones, for the money you can't go wrong! I've bought 20 different pairs of headphones for my kids and none seem to compare to these xx headphones. Smooth bass loud highs all in all they are awesome.

I have no complaints on these, they are extremely comfortable and amazing quality.
If you listen to deep sub-bass music like dubstep/dnb etc etc, definitely recommend these. The bass is amazing along with the overall quality. They look really nice too!
