I purchased a set of these Z Buds a while back after doing quite a bit of online research on earbuds.
As many reviewers said, the Zs need to be burned in before reaching their full sound potential, but once they do, look out, they sound incredible. They come with a set of soft plastic self molding fittings so they can be adapted to any size ear canal. Once you get just the right fit, the vast majority of outside sound and noise is removed, leaving a vivid, seemingly 3 dimensional full spectrum sound stage with ample bass and shimmeringly clear highs and no distortion.
Once you find the right fit, the Zs will not come out of your ears during walking or biking. I'm not a runner, so I can't comment on how well they stay in while jogging.
Unfortunately, after about 3 months of non abusive use, the left channel started to shut off intermittently. I could get it to come on again by wiggling the cord, but it wouldn't stay on.
No problem, I sent them to Zagg in Utah, and within less than one week, a brand new pair was delivered by UPS free of charge.
I've had the replacement set for several months without any glitches. Whether they sound better than comparably priced earbuds is a subjective assessment, but to me, they sound every bit as great as my other favorite set by V-moda. I won't even comment about the sound of the sorry excuses that pass for earbuds included with an ipod. Of course, if you were happy with those, you wouldn't be reading this.

Good sound and provided with a wide range of noise isolating ear bud styles and sizes.
Over the shoulder design keeps the ear buds from getting pulled out.
Cloth cable makes it virtually tangle free. Pull it out of your pocket and go.
On cable volume control.
On cable track change button (doubles to answer calls)
Excellent built-in microphone.
Convenient loop that allows you to anchor the cable to a shirt button.
A very reasonable price.
That said, these aren't the best sounding ear-buds in the world. But for commuting I can't thing of a better value.
